KKS Savills Announcement

 

I am writing to all our colleagues, clients and consultant teams to provide information on  KKS Savills position and reassure you regarding our business continuity processes and procedures during the current coronavirus situation in the UK. As expected, the situation has worsened and therefore as of COB today, 17 March 2020, the KKS Savills team  will be working remotely by  employing agile platforms.

All our staff are fully  equipped to work from home. We have run pilots to test connectivity and access to servers and applications.  We are confident that we can fulfil our project commitments by  virtual methods. Our staff’s wellbeing and mental health is paramount, and we understand the impact that isolation may have and as such have provided all our staff with the tools to enable maximum communication.

We plan to have a presence in the office, if appropriate, which will be staffed with those  of us who are able to commute without using public transport.   We will update you on  this plan as it evolves.   However, we wish to proceed  on  a ‘business as usual’ basis wherever possible and request that team meetings, both internal and external, are partly or fully  virtual using collaboration software such as Microsoft Teams.

Our clients are global and as such we are well versed  in virtual communication platforms and believe that  we have highly effective tools at our disposal to keep successfully servicing our clients and projects.  Additionally, we have put in place internal reporting structures to enable project continuity and direct communication.

There will be times over the coming weeks when we may still be required to meet in person. In such situations, we request that the number of people attending is kept to a minimum. We will observe  all government guidelines as they emerge, maintaining maximum safety of all attendees.

We are entirely committed to our clients and projects, and to the health and wellbeing of our team and their families in these unprecedented conditions.   KKS Savills is ready to face the challenges, we will continue to support our clients to the highest possible standard and support our industry community where we can.

I am sure that each of you will be facing similar situations in your own businesses, be assured we are here to support you and we believe that we will find  our way through by  working together. Regular and effective communication is critical to the success  of these new working processes.
