Baker McKenzie discusses new ways of working with The Lawyer

Baker McKenzie began trialling new ways of working from mid to late 2017. Based on their growth forecast, coupled with their current workspace configurations, they estimated that they would soon run out of space in their London HQ. “The benefit of a non-cellular based environment is you can fit more people on the same floor plate, allowing for more contraction and expansion. We are creating additional growth space,” says Baker McKenzie’s London chief operating officer Simon Thompson.

With five years left on their lease, Baker McKenzie was keen to trial new ways of working while they decided whether to remain in their current building or move. KKS was instructed to assist Baker McKenzie as they undertook this journey.
